Paseo de la Castellana Demo
A redesign proposal for a shopping center experience, currently built in HTML as a demo and planned as a future WordPress implementation.
View demoOverview
Paseo de la Castellana is a redesign demo for a shopping center website. The concept presents the mall as a complete destination for food, shopping, entertainment, cinema, events, and visitor information.
The current version is HTML-first, useful for validating the creative direction and content structure before moving into a more editable WordPress implementation.
Role
Redesign proposal, HTML implementation, content structure, user journey planning, responsive layout, and WordPress migration planning.
Challenge
A shopping center site needs to support several visitor intents at the same time: finding stores, checking events, discovering restaurants, planning a visit, and understanding what makes the place worth visiting.
Solution
- Created a demo experience around directory discovery, events, restaurants, entertainment, and visitor actions.
- Used HTML to move quickly and validate the structure before committing to a CMS build.
- Planned the content so it can later become WordPress-managed sections, listings, events, and landing pages.
- Focused the narrative on the shopping center as a place to eat, play, enjoy, and return.
Outcome
The demo gives the project a strong visual and structural starting point for a future WordPress site, with clearer paths for visitors and a more modern destination-style presentation.
